This summer join CAM for an exclusive ride through the western ghats of God’s own country.

The whole ride is split up into three stages, this is to avoid the afternoon heat on Day-1.

Stage 1 – 45 km ride from Sulthan bathery to Meenmutty falls.

The route goes through the mudumalai forest check post with an array of trees on either side. The trail provides us with a sneak peek into Mudumalai forest range of Tamilnadu and ends at Meenmutty falls. The tasty lunch and the enticing waterfalls are just the thing to get the riders back in shape!

Stage 2 – The ride after the lunch on day 1 starts at 3.30 p.m. The 30 km route takes the riders through some exotic tea estates next to Chembra, the highest peak in Waynad, and Meppadi town. The stay for the day would be at Chandragiri hotel (one of the best) at Kalpetta.

Stage 3 – The ride on Day 2 starts at 6a.m, with the riders passing through the misty roads and reaching Vythri and Pookot lake. The trail then passes through the eastern side of Chembra peak, along serpentine roads and lush green tea plantations leading the riders to Suchipara falls, an ideal place to end the ride.

The cost of the ride is Rs 3200 (Bangalore to Bangalore). And don’t worry if you do not have a bike – we will arrange a rented bike and helmet for you at an additional cost of Rs.400 for the trip!

The Cost includes
1. Rider transport (to and fro) in an Ultra luxury bus
2. Transportation of bikes
3. Hefty interstate tax for the bus and the support vehicle
4. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner on Day-1
5. Accommodation (double or triple sharing) at Kalpetta
6. Breakfast and Lunch on Day-2

Riders will be back to Bangalore on Sunday, April 11th before 10 p.m

Day -1 : Stage 1

Stage 1 Route:
Sulthan Bathery – Pattavayal = 19 kms
Pattayaval – Ambamoola = 5 kms
Ambamoola – Ayankoli Church jn = 4 kms
Ayankoli Church Jn – Kayonni = 7 kms
Kayonni – Meenmutti entrance = 10 kms
Total = 45 kms

Easy riders can take a 25 km ride from Sulthan bathery to meenmutty via ambalavayal and vaduvanchal

Day -1 : Stage 2

Stage 2 Route:

Meenmutty entrance – Vaduvanchal = 5 kms
Vaduvanchal – Meppadi = 13 kms
Meppadi – Kalpetta = 12 kms

Total = 30 kms

Day 2 : Stage – 3

Stage 3 Route:
Kalpetta – Vythri (pookot lake) = 12 kms
Vythri – Chundale = 7 kms
Chundale – Meppadi = 11 kms (Easy ride ends here, or people can go 3-4 kms ahead on soochipara road and return to meppadi)
Meppadi – Soochipara = 15 kms
Soochipara – Meppadi = 15 kms
Total
Expert = 60 kms
Easy = 30 kms
