This July, join CAM to pedal through one of the most sought out trails on western ghats. Conquer the Highest Peak of Karnataka (Mullayanagiri) and visit the world famous historical place “Belur”. What more can you ask on a Monsoon weekend??

The cost for the entire experience is 3000 Rs only. In case you dont have a bike, we can arrange for rented bikes for 400 or 500 Rs depending on the bike brand. 400 for btwin and firefox bikes. 500 for Trek, giant, canondale and merida bikes

Spread over second weekend of July, 2010 – The trail has a “beginners section” too. In case you dont want to ride upto mullayanagiri, you could join your fellow riders on the support vehicle and cheer them up.
The ride is split in to three stages,
Stage 1: Sakleshpur to Chikmagalur, via beautiful town of Mudigere. The path has rolling hills and beautiful vistas.
Distance: 70 kms
Start Date and Time : Saturday, July 10 2010, around 6:00 a.m
Stage 2: Chikmagalur to Mullayanagiri and back, on a newly laid smooth tarmac road, with greenery all around. A Climb you will remember for a long time.
Distance : 40 kms (round trip)
Start date and time : Saturday, July 10 2010, around 2:30 p.m
Stage 3: Chikmagalur to Belur, out of the ghats and into the hassan plateau, this is a flat trail with fields on either side of the track.
Distance : 30 kms
Start date and time : Sunday, July 11, 2020 , 6:30 a.m
After the ride, the riders and their rides will board the transport (around 1 p.m) and we should be back in bangalore before 9 in the night.
We will be taking only 33 riders for this event, so hurry and register now.

The Cost of the event is 3000 Rs. This includes
a. Transportation of the rider and bike to and fro bangalore (on an ultra luxuary bus)
b. Food during the event
c. Support vehicle
d. Stay in a decent hotel at Chikmagalur (sharing basis)
e. Hydration and snacks during the ride.
